I'm passionate about my photography and, more importantly, I'm passionate about Scotland, my homeland.
I moved to Minnesota, USA in 1988 and I guess it's the old adage that you don't know what you've got until you lose it. I've always appreciated the unique beauty and heritage of Scotland but you don't really understand what that means until you can't take it for granted anymore.
I hope my images reflect some of the emotion I felt when I took them. The emotion of, well, "this is the most incredible little country in the world and it may be a while until I'm home again".

My images have appeared in Scottish Life Magazine, Highlander Magazine and The Minneapolis Star/Tribune and I'm a regular exhibitor at local Scottish Fairs such as the Minnesota Scottish Fair, the Scottish Ramble in Saint Paul, MN and the Illinois Highland Games (see the Links page for details).
